Renee is a Barre and Pilates specialist with over 30 years of experience helping people achieve their dreams of becoming certified instructors.

Renee’s career began at the Royal Academy of Dance, the world's leading organisation in classical ballet education. Using this as a springboard, Renee received a scholarship with the Hamburg Ballet School, where she completed her Diploma of Dance while performing with the renowned Hamburg Ballet Company.

Finding a Love

Upon returning to Australia, Renee discovered her passion for Pilates. She pursued this new interest by completing her first Pilates course in New York with Romana Kryzanowska, a first-generation Pilates instructor trained by Joseph Pilates and considered one of his leading disciples.

In 2001, Renee founded her first Pilates studio, where she became certified in the Pilates International Method, a teacher trainer with Balanced Body Pilates, and gained specialist certifications in pre- and post-natal Pilates. During these years, she also expanded her knowledge by earning a diploma in yoga and completing various group and personal training fitness courses.

In more recent years, Renee has been based in Bondi Beach, where she owns and operates Balance Moves Pilates & Barre Studio, while also creating and providing education and mentoring for the instructor community.
